It's still a waiting game to see if the Ford government comes through with money the Liberals promised to a local sexual assault services group.
Lauren Power, Executive Director of the Muskoka Parry Sound Sexual Assault Services, says the current government still has not confirmed the $65,000 in additional funding into their base funding that the Liberals told the group would be on the way.
Power says the money is badly needed and would allow a new staff member to be hired who would work out of Huntsville reaching women in need in that area and East Parry Sound...
She says they have not added to their staffing since 1993 while the need for services has quadrupled.
The Progressive Conservatives are still going through a line by line review of all programs established by the previous Liberal regime.
