Maxwell Heights ( Oshawa ) 10 St. Peter's ( Peterborough ) 9

The Owen Sound District Wolves defeated Centre Wellington 9-8 & Bishop Redding 10-5 yesterday to finish 5th at the 12 school Provincial Championship

The only loss for OSDSS was to the overall champions from Maxwell Heights

The Royals will meet Streetsville Secondary School this morning at 9 am





OFSAA Track and Field Championships

at the University of Guelph.

Ben Brewer of Kincardine District Secondary School won Gold in Midget Boys Shot Put. 

Harley Martin from Sacred Heart High School in Walkerton won the silver in Midget Girls Shot Put.

Adam Alexander had a 3 run home run in the 1st inning for the Smoke

Kyle Fry pitched a complete game shutout for Elmwood

The Selects are at Tara to meet the Merchants tonight





Grey Bruce Ladies Fastball League

Patti Scarrow had 2 triples and a double for the Royals

Nina Gabert, Jen Laver and Rachel Ward had 2 hits apiece for Desboro.

Sarah Monkman doubled and Julie Thompson had a pair of singles for the Gators

The annual Crimestoppers of Grey Bruce Golf Tournament is set for today at Saugeen Golf Club

Among those scheduled to be on hand for the event are former NHL'ers Steve Thomas; Mike Krushelnyski;
Les Binkley & Paul MacDermid along with NHL ref Kendrick Nicholson and Saugeen Shores pro hockey player Kevin Czuczman.
