Trillium Lakelands District School Board is looking at a $209.7 million budget.
Superintendent of Business Services Tim Ellis addressed it Tuesday night.
What it doesn’t currently include is a $3.6 million surplus management amount that will be added once it gets Provincial approval.
The board is also still expecting Priorities and Partnerships Funding (PPF) that will provide additional supports in schools.
The budget reflects recent funding cuts, as well as continued declining enrolment for the board.
The projected decline for the 2019-2020 school year is 198 elementary students and 134 secondary students.
As part of this year’s budgeting process, TLDSB departments were asked to reduce budgets by 5 per cent. The budget could be approved Tuesday, September 24th.
