A convicted murderer being housed at Beaver creek institution in Gravenhurst has been granted unsupervised visits with his now-adult daughter.
Michael White of Edmonton was found guilty of murdering his pregnant wife and dumping her body in a ditch nearly 15 years ago.
A Parole Board of Canada panel yesterday granted him four 72-hour unescorted temporary absences over nine months.
He will be staying at a halfway house in Barrie during that time.
