Federal prosecutors have filed hate crime charges against a Pennsylvania man who is accused of killing 11 people. Six others were hurt including four police officers.
46 year old Robert Bowers surrendered to police after Saturday morning's shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue.
The attack is believed to be the deadliest on the Jewish community in US history.
It is believed that Bowers made anti-Semitic statements when he opened fire and also on social media.
He faces 29 charges and he could face the death penalty if convicted.
President Donald Trump said yesterday that the outcome would have been different if there was an armed guard inside the temple. He went on to say that anybody who does something like this to innocent people in worship should suffer the ultimate price.
