With the warm and dry weather, there are now fire bans in place in our region.
No open air burning is allowed in Midland and Penetanguishene until further notice.
As of midnight tonight, there will be a fire ban in Tiny Township.
That means no fires and no fireworks.
The Fire Danger rating is high in Wasaga Beach.
No restrictions are in place at this time but fire officials ask you to please use extreme caution if doing any outdoor burning.
In Springwater Township, the Fire Danger Rating has been set at high. You are asked to use extreme caution if you’re having a campfire this weekend.
