Quick thinking occupants kept a fire from spreading in Gravenhurst today.
The Gravenhurst Fire Department says the people used fire extinguishers before crews arrived when flames broke out in some debris behind a building at 121 Bay.
A portion of Bay Street was closed during the response.
The fire was extinguished and crews remained on scene checking for fire extensions into an adjacent building.
