It’s National Take-Out Day.
Local restaurants have been struggling throughout the pandemic and last December, Restaurants Canada reported that 10,000 restaurants have already closed with upwards of 50 per cent expecting to close permanently if conditions don’t improve.
In a show of support, Canadians are coming together for today’s 2nd annual event, which was created by Canada Takeout (CTO) — an organization dedicated to all things takeout across the country.
