OPP is investigating after a video surfaced on FB appearing to show an OPP officer pushing a youth off a longboard/scooter at the Gravenhurst Skate Park
OPP Sgt. Jason Folz says the OPP are aware of the video, believed to be taken at the park on Sunday (below).
Gravenhurst OPP assult 12 year old boy
READ – – > Heads up! Do not angry react the video! click the like button! When you angry or sad react, facebooks algorithm slows down how many people see this! Facebook assumes that people don’t want to see the video when it is angry or sad reacted! Watch the useless OPP assault a 12 year old kid at the Gravenhurst Skate Park! Cop should loose his job and be charged for assaulting a minor. Everyone share this so they can see the misconduct of this officer, and hopefully be publicly shamed at the very least!!Backstory: Kids were skating and riding bikes at the skate park. As new covid rules enable police to have more power, they were out asking questions. This CHILD wouldn’t tell the officer his name so the officer took it upon himself to ASSULT the CHILD. I don’t care how much you can say the child was at fault, he wasn’t. Children misbehave it’s what they do. They was a MUCH better way to handle this situation. I am terrified that these are the officers walking our streets. What next assult the elderly because the couldn’t hear the officers request? Oh wait the OPP have already done that! #LOSERS
