Bracebridge firefighters responded to a significant grass fire Friday afternoon.
Resident Brian Gibbs (below video) called it in via 911 while he was out for a walk.

The land where the fire was is off Lilac Lane behind a cemetery.
The fire had been brought under control by mid-afternoon and firefighters cleared the scene.
No official word yet on the cause.
