A stolen puppy and vehicle have been recovered in Haliburton.
The OPP says a 2021 silver Dodge Ram was stolen from Durham Region on August 11, when a nine month old puppy was inside.
A few days later, police received reports about the stolen vehicle being sighted in Highlands East, where officers successfully located the puppy and truck.
As a result of the investigation, Kaila Grech, 31-years-old, of Clarington, was charged with the following offences:
- Possession of property obtained by crime- 2 counts
The accused party was held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for August 17, 2021.
