11 Arrested, Drugs Seized In Simcoe County & GTA Investigation

There has been a major drug operation involving police across central Ontario, including Simcoe County.
According to the OPP, 11 people face more than 100 charges after police raids in Springwater Township, Barrie and the GTA.
OPP say the investigation was the result of fatal and non-fatal overdoses linked to trafficking of crack cocaine and fentanyl in Simcoe County.
Police seized drugs, cash, handguns and body armour.
Four vehicles were also impounded.
Those charged are from Barrie and the GTA.
