Snowmobiles Racing On The Water In Penetanguishene This Weekend.

There’s a watercross event in Penetanguishene this weekend. The event features snowmobiles that have been modified to race on open water.
The Ontario Watercross Racing Association is hosting the event Saturday and Sunday at Rotary Champlain Wendat Park.
The machines have been equipped to prevent gasoline and oil from entering the water and council has granted organizers an exemption from the town’s noise bylaw.
