The Township of Ramara Public Library Brechin Branch will be closed until further notice.
The Township was informed that mould had been identified on the lower floor of the Mara Medical Centre, which houses the library. The library location will be closed until further notice to protect the health and safety of staff, residents and visitors.
The public can return any library books or resources to the Ramara Library at the Ramara Centre at 5482 Highway 12. Those library users who cannot return books or resources to the Ramara Centre location can use the drop-off box at the Township Administration Building. Library users will incur no fees during this time to allow for all library materials to be returned.
The Good Doctors, which is located on the main floor of the Mara Medical Centre, will remain open as testing identified that the mould is centralized only to the lower floor.
