It’s big and red and the owners want it back.
Huntsville Giant Tiger was hit by thieve(s) last night who stole the store’s signature 8 ft tall red Muskoka chair which had been a staple at the location since the store opened.
Store manager/Owner Donna Coltman tells Country 102 it was taken sometime overnight.
The store is located at the Huntsville Place Mall at 70 King William Street.
The theft has been reported to police and Coltman says there were some tire tracks left in the snow, possibly Dually’s.
The chair, which carries the store’s logo in its centre, is valued at between $4,000 and $5,000.
Coltman says to contact police or the store if you have tips.
The store’s number is 705-789-8412.
Coltman adds that if tips lead to the recovery of the stolen chair then there will likely be some type of compensation. If the chair is returned no questions asked that would also be welcome.
