Officers from the Orillia Community Street Crime Unit of the OPP have taken firearms and drugs off the streets following search warrants on a residence and a vehicle.
An investigation into drug trafficking began last month and has now yielded the seizure of firearms, and drugs.
Orillia and Muskoka Street Crime worked together to arrest a man in Simcoe County.
Among the seizures:
A loaded Glock with prohibited magazine and switch
A prohibitively loaded 9mm
Cocaine, crack, cannabis and cash.
In all, the 24 year old Scarborough man faces 19 charges relating to firearms and drugs.
