GO Transit is changing some schedules and reducing train service due to COVID-19-related staffing shortages, starting today.
It says the changes are temporary.
On the Barrie line:
- During the morning and afternoon rush hours, trains will run every 30 to 45 minutes.
- During the midday and evening, trains will run every hour between Aurora GO and Union Station.
- To accommodate these changes, some schedules will be adjusted, with some trips departing 15 minutes earlier or later.
- The last weekday northbound train will end at Bradford GO.
- There are no changes to weekend service.
