Downed power lines are being blamed for causing a wildfire in Muskoka Lakes.
Firefighters from Foots Bay, Bala and Port Carling were called to the incident on Hwy 169 near Redwood Rd. yesterday.
Officials say firefighters extinguished the 1/2 hectare fire and reopened the road by 6pm.
3pm today firefighters from Foots Bay, Bala and Port Carling were summoned to a hydro line incident on hwy 169 near Redwood Rd. Downed live power lines caused a wildfire and closed the road.
