Originally from Ajax, Ontario, Singer / Songwriter Emily Clair grew up in a musical family and showed early artistic inklings by singing herself to sleep as a child.
She took vocal and piano lessons for several years growing up which lead her to perform at many local talent shows and recitals.
Emily was introduced to Country music through the Chicks – who proved to be a lasting musical influence.
Emily has a passion for uplifting other women in the country scene. She co-founded the Songbird Series – which is an all female Canadian singer songwriter community focused on building up fellow women in Canadian country by giving them a platform to connect and perform.
Emily is proud to put out the first single from her first full length album – the album called “Stealing Hearts.” The single? “Kiss Strangers,”
