New Electoral Riding Proposed for North Simcoe County.

The Commission that oversees Electoral Boundaries is looking at tweaking a local riding to account for population growth.
The proposed redistribution would see a new riding of Penetanguishene-Couchiching created to take in most of the existing riding of Simcoe-North.
The new riding would consist of Orillia, Midland, Penetanguishene,Ramara, Severn,Tay and Tiny, and The Rama and Christian Island First Nations. The commission has scheduled public hearings next month to gather feedback.
