Nineteen Provincial Constables are joining Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachments in Central Region following yesterday’s graduation in Orillia.
The 19 new officers, who are part of Class 500, completed their training at the Ontario Police College in Aylmer, and the Ontario Provincial Police Academy in Orillia.
The new Provincial Constables have been deployed to the following detachments:
· Bracebridge – 1 officer
· City of Kawartha Lakes – 3 officers
· Huntsville – 1 officer
· Northumberland – 2 officers
· Nottawasaga – 7 officers
· Orillia – 1 officer
· Peterborough County – 1 officer
· Southern Georgian Bay – 3 officers
