There was a very special delivery Monday for Orillia’s Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital.
A brand new MRI machine was carefully off loaded from a tractor trailer, and moved into the hospital.
The hospital foundation has been raising money for the last three years to pay for the state of the art machine.
The tally for the purchase and installation is close to $4 million.
The new machine replaces an older unit that’s been in service since 2007.
