There are information sessions next week where local residents can get a sneak peak at what the return of the Northlander passenger train will look like.
The train which ran from Toronto to Timmins was cancelled in 2012, but the Ford government is bringing it back and hopes to have trains running in the next year or so.
Ontario Northland has an open house planned at the Washago Community Center on Nov. 7 and at the Gravenhurst Centenial Centre the following day.
There’s also a virtual event on November 9.
