It’s good news for campers.
Come Friday June 12th, beaches at Provincial Parks will be open to the public as maintenance and water testing are completed.
Then on June 15th, campers enrolled in 2020’s Ontario Parks Seasonal Campsite Program will have access to their campsites at the majority of provincial parks.
Starting the week of June 22nd all other campgrounds in regions entering Stage 2 will gradually open at provincial parks, along with washrooms, water taps and trailer sanitation stations.
Roofed accommodations like yurts, cabins and lodges, park stores and rental operations, visitor centres and sports fields will be phased in too over the next several weeks.
